This is the story of Samuel Hersberger.
He left home as a youth. After all these years
he receives a call letting him know that his dad
is dying. He decides that is time to go back to the life that he
left behind years ago. He packs up his belongs and starts
the journey home. Mary Stutzman is a widow. Mary is
good friends with Katie who is Samuel’s sister.
Samuel and Mary catch each other’s eye.
Will things work out for Samuel and Mary?
I love this book.
Willard puts such a unique on this amish book.

Autumn Grace

Ruth Schrock is the oldest of seven daughters.
She tries so hard to please her father.
It seems as though she can’t ever please him.
She has such love for life and is such a lively person.
Ruth is in charge of the cooking, gardening, etc since her mamm
was going to have another boppi.
Am unexpected opportunity happens for Ruth though.
She is asked to be the teacher in another district.
This is an opportunity that Ruth would love to have.
To prove that she can do good so her dad would be proud of her and happy.
Ruth goes to stay with her aunt and uncle in the other district.
She meets Levi. She and Levi seem to get along one minute and distant the next.
Could love be in the air for them?
THis is a must read book.

This is the story of Claire Keim. She is waiting with all her family and friends to marry Mathew Troyer.
She is given the news that no one wants to hear. He Mathew is gone. Claire refused to believe it at first
that Mathew was gone, that this wan’t some sort of bad joke.
Year’s have passed and Claire has thought of Mathew on occasion.
Mathew’s father lives close to Claire. His wife died years ago.
His only other son Tobius hasn’t been seen for years. He ran away
not long after Mathew passed. A stranger comes to town and ends up passing
out in Claire’s home. He is taking in by Claire’s son Levi and his wife.
They help to take care of him until he is on his feet again and able to take care of himself.
There seems to be something about this stranger. What is it?
Only time will tell. This is a must read book.

Ben finally notices Katie. When Katie is away she receives some
devastating news about Ben. What will happen?

This is the first book that I have read by Melody Carlson.
I so loved this story. I look forward to reading many more books by Melody.
