Donna Walo Clancy
I was born in 1959. Yes, according to my children I am getting old. My home is on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, USA. Single (and loving every minute of it), I have three grown children, Meghan, Sarah, and Brandon, who are my world. My writing assistant and snugglebug is my seven-year-old Papillion dog, Zumiez.
I enjoy walking the beaches with my metal detector, photography, crafting of all kinds, and day trips exploring new places with my kids. An avid concert goer, I have been known to hop in a car and follow a band up and down the east coast. My favorite band is All Time Low.
I am currently working on several new projects. The Wishing Cradle, a Christmas story will be released in December 2016. Next year will see the releases of The Ghost of the Emerald Peacock; Dead Men Talk, the first in my new mystery series Ship Wreck Café; Until Jam Do Us Part, Jam Up and Jelly Fright, the second and third books in my cozy mystery series Jellies, Jams, and Weddings.
I also have an anthology coming out in September of 2017 of ghost stories. Stories already completed for this project include; The Screamers of Cedar Swamp, Not Only Clothes Hang in Your Closet, Merry Go Round and Round and Round, Making Love to Mother Earth, The Restless Brides, and several more.
My current listings on Amazon include;
The Big Mistake Club
Jellies, Jams, and Bodies
Keep the Faith, Ellen McGuire
The Baby Factory
This story was released in 2013. It has been taken down off Amazon for re-working and editing. It is a great story but needs a little tender loving care. It will return to Amazon in 2017.

I enjoy writing stand-alone stories most, but have delved into several mystery series for my readers because that is what they requested. Hopefully, God willing, I will be around for many more years to write. My writing area is covered with outlines of many stories to come.
My favorite book that I have written so far is The Big Mistake Club. It took me two years to write. The book is very emotionally charged and a lot of people don’t agree with the ending. It received a five-star rating from Readers Favorites. Something may be in the works for my book but I have to keep it hush-hush for now!
“I have always wanted to be a writer. My mind works in strange ways. I can sit and look at an object or a scene in front of me and a whole story will form in my mind and I run to write it down. I am a story-teller. This is what I was born to do. I walk the beaches talking out loud, forming new books in my mind. People think I am crazy and maybe I am. But, my kids love me anyway!”
