Amish Friends Christmas Cookbook, By: Wanda E. Brunstetter
What a delightful, fun filled spiral bound cookbook.
It is packed with recipes and little stores throughout it
about the Amish. I love the scripture that is in it.
The brief history of the Amish and Mennonites.
Lots of recipes that can be used
throughout the year. I see several that I also plan on
making and giving as gifts to friends and family.
The illustrated pictures will make you drool they look so good.
Everything from appetizers’, breads, salads, main dishes and
sides to desserts.
What a wonderful cookbook for you or to give as a gift.

Madeline Howard is a widow. She lost her husband in the Civil War.
She is trying to make it on her own. Madeline saves the life of Elliot Haywood
while working her one day as a nurse. She meets the officer again
when she is staying in Richmond with her family. He is taken with Madeline.
He wants to win her heart. Her heart is already taking by another.
This is a must read book. I was hooked from the beginning.

She makes you feel like you are part of the stories.
There are ups and downs, tears, joy, heartache and hope.
