1. Did you enjoy writing as a child?

 

I wrote my first story in 1st grade about a horse that had twin colts. Even back then fiction is what I loved. I still do. What a dream come true to get to do what I love every day!

2. Who or what inspired you to write?

 

I’d always had the dream to write from the time I wrote that first story. The teacher praised it, and I thought how wonderful it would be to have a book in the library. I married at 19 and had our first child at 21. I poured myself into my children, and the little seed of a writing dream lay dormant. August 25, 1990 changed everything. The phone rang late that night and it was my middle brother telling me that the oldest of my three younger brother had been killed by lightning in a freak farm…

Anna’s Crossing (An Amish Beginnings Novel), By: Suzanne Woods Fisher

Suzanne Woods Fisher has written an excellent book! This is her best book yet I think! Anna’s Crossing is a wonderful combination of both Amish and historical fiction. It is a very refreshing twist on both types of fiction. This is a book that grabbed hold of me from the start and didn’t let go until the very end. I felt as though I was experiencing what the characters were in the book. The description and details used in the story were so well written. A very moving story. I am so looking forward to reading more books like this. There was lots of faith, hope, courage, action, adventure, mischievousness, trials, pain, and heartache in this breathtaking story. So be sure to set your sails and get ready to enjoy the captivating adventure through this wonderful story. Be sure that you get your copy of this book. Remember it also makes a great gift.

How Many Times Do I Have To Tell You? By: Rachael Carman

This is the first book that I have read by Rachael Carman. I am so glad that I chose to read this book. It will definitely be a book that I refer back to from time to time. An excellent read for any parent. All those questions and problems that life seems to through at you all in one book. A book that picked me up and opened my eyes to dealing with my children. Wonderful scripture references that are good for you.  It will help to guide you along your path of everyday life. Reading parts of this book is like deja vu with parts of my own life. It is funny to think that so many of us having the same questions and quotes that are said on a regular basis. Lots of encouragement in this book. Make sure that you order your copy of this book.
